2020 The Swim

An art film exploring the renewal that comes from a cold water swim. Sponsored by the Three Lakes Cultural Trust's RenewART project, the film exhibited as part of an arts showcase in Queenstown and Wanaka. Cinematography by Aliscia Young. Online release TBC.

2020 Mark + Mya - Adventure Reels

"I’ve heard it said, 'A good friend listens to your adventures. A best friend makes them with you.'”

The short film Mark + Mya was commissioned by Adventure Reels to play at the Top Dog Film Festival throughout Australia and New Zealand. All footage was shot by Mark during his travels, and I had the pleasure of writing a script and creating a film to tell his story.

2017 Tanya the Hut Warden

A quirky short I produced myself, from shoot through final edit, this film premiered at the New Zealand Mountain Film Festival, and went on to feature in a number of other festivals and online publicaions, including Outside Magazine, Adventure Journal, She Went Wild, Reel Earth Film Fest, and Cradle Mountain Film Fest.

2016 Being Here - Juniper Media

"Some people say the wild in us is just as endangered as these wild landscapes. Sometimes I’m afraid that might be true."

The short film Being Here, with support from Outdoor Research and Chaco Footwear, premiered at the 2016 5Point Adventure Film Festival, where it received the People's Choice Award. I was thrilled to be the editor on the project, which was written and directed by Hilary Oliver (Juniper Media/The Gription), with cinematography by Becca Skinner. The film was also selected for the Banff Mountain Film Festival (Canada), NoMan'sLand Film Festival (USA), Wild and Scenic Film Festival (USA),  and the Why Not? Adventure Film Festival (Ireland).
